Wont start

I have a fuel pump switch, its on n buzzing etc, the battery is buggered when trying to jump off my other car its just not starting-It wants to, but doesnt splutter or anything, it has fuel, pumps fine, Do u think I should just stop being tight n buy a new battery!

I only use it now n again!

Try the battery out of your other car, it doesn't sound like the battery to me though. Have you rebuilt the head or anything? can you hear the starter relay clicking in?

Well its like this....I put a new battery on it, it was fine drove it for a week, MOT ran out, sat on the drive n my mate needed a battery, so that was that.

Always used to start off my booster pack but now.....Starter turns n wants to start but nothing.

I believe to be the battery, but what else could be the problem?

buy a new battery and try that. if its been stood it wont be keen to start

Thats the best thing to do, Im gonna get one tonight from maccess n go from there.

Whats the best battery to get for a 2L nova? like one for a cav/calibra/astra valver or a Nova TD?
