i have noticed a few cars now using porsche wheels, mainly vw's and some vauxhalls, i have converted my nova to 5 stud and am running cali turbo rims on at the moment, just wondering if they do actually fit? im after this style but wondering about the fitment/offset and are they only in 17", will i have to use two fronts as the rears are obviously too wide?

iv never seen any Vauxhalls with them but they look really good on Dubs, I reckon its definately worth a go....the offset on them is different as the size differs....

17" x 7" Front is 40mm offset

17" x 9" is 55mm offset...

not sure on fitments tho....

I swear porsche use 5X130 PCD, therefore you'll either need the hubs modified, or use PCD coverter plates, but on the front wheels it doesnt look like you'll have much offset to play with?

I hve seen a Corsa with them on. The guy had to machine the brake disc mounting face back by 6mm and fit 10mm spacers/pcd changers, and ran 195/40/17 tyres, and he still had clearance problems.

I don't think it's worth it, i think Mille Miglia make replica's in 7x17 et37mm, 4x100pcd.. machine your hubs/discs and u MAY find that a better try....

We were lookin at them for my missus' beetle....

I think they'd look awfull on a Nova IMO. What with the large size & totally wrong offset, you will be grinding out the rear glass to get em in.

I cant see how these would ever fit! VW's have some spacer kits n all that but these are big wheels! there are replicas you can but with proper offsets.Porsche centre caps are abt 100 a set!

The wheels at the top of the thread are Turbo 2's, the ones on the nova pictured are Design 90's, off the 944 and available in 6x162 or 8x16"

Hummnn. ET 47 close. Maybe worth investigating, accoring to a VW mate of mine all the old VW are the same fitment as porsche, he dropped a 911 lump in his camper and fitted some of the wheels a while back.

Give it some rev

personally i think the same because yes they are too big and those Design 90 look awful on that mk2 Nova

Yeah the wheels suit VW's, n they have a strong history link-Vauxhall + Porsche= Nothing! lol

Anyway, the old VWs had the same stud pattern as Porsche & its possible to fit Porsche engines into buses etc quite easily. Theres one up north where I done my training! had a 944 turbo! beast!
