Guten Tag from Germany!

Just to let you all know i am still alive after 2 days at the track, did a total of 12 laps on the ring and 6 laps of the GP circuit. Was very lucky to get on the GP track but was way too wet for the nova, couldnt get a decent lap in at all.

Learnt alot this weekend about the track as it was so wet all i could do was learn lines, though the track dried up last night so was able to build my speed up slowly and ended up upsetting a few expensive cars. Didnt time all weekend so dont ask what times i did;) I wont be timing atall this year as its not what i want to do (dont want to die trying to chase silly times)

While i was there approx 10 british cars had crashes, some very bad. The worst was a noble, which was completely totalled. I went out for dinner with the guy who was driving it last night and he explained it wasnt even his car! he had borrowed it from a friend! Said its ok though as he would just buy him a new one:eek:

As for the storage of my car, WOW! They took me and my girlfriend out for dinner, helped me with my car over the weekend, they have given me a car to use while i am here.

Brilliant weekend, and will be back tomorrow as i am just visiting family in south Germany.. Bring on the 28th as i am back out with Nova Neil for the weekend.

Morning, no evening, what ever it is!

Well we got back safe and well thanks to easyjet, was a very simple journey home taking 5 hours door to door and that was including getting drunk in the bar at the airport!

Got dropped off at Koln/Bonn airport by the guys looking after my car, was a VERY fast drive down the autobahn to get there:eek: One of the race drivers that stores his car there even helped me wash my car before i left! Couldnt leave it in the state it was and i dont trust anyone else to clean it;)

Thanks for posting the pictures up Mart, will have to let me know where you find them all. Was alot of photographers out this weekend.

Car went really well all weekend though had a few noises coming from the box, so they are doing a full check on the car and replacing any parts that need replacing ready for when i go out in 3 weeks.

Would like to say its going to be cheaper to leave my car there but some how managed to spend just under ?1000 this weekend!!! But that does include as many laps as i want for the rest of the year so should be cheaper from now on, atleast i hope so as ive got no money now... Time for the evo to go very soon me thinks:(

The new wheels were great Oli, the car drives so much better with the 15's on and decent tyres. Really want to put some serious time in at the ring this year and build up slowly, just hope the car is up for it.. Going to have some teaching when next out off one of the locals for the weekend, so will hopefully get alot from that.

Last picture was mini karusell, main Karusell was very funny! Vicki nearly had her eyes out it was that bumpy in the nova lol.

Looking forward to going again allready, though i cant afford to go drinking every night neil when we are there so might have to go to bed early lol.

Hi Mate, glad you're back ok! Sounds like you have found a really good bunch to look after the car, very impressed by what you have said so far. Nice to know its in good hands.
I had a look through loads of picture sites last night, saved all the ones of you I came across, will put them al on a disk or email if you like.

Alright Karl,

Was a great weekend thanks, was good to talk to you;) Vicki enjoyed it though it was a little too centered around cars for her at times (ie going out with Bazza Matt etc and talking about nothing else other than carslol ) But i took her shopping and we went up too the castle etc so did a few things other than look at cars..

Had 3 eggs while i was out there, was good yah.

Would love to let people use my card, but as you can get banned for letting other people use it i wont be taking the risk;) Though if you all want me to drive your cars for you that fine:thumb:

Hi Paul, sorry tp hear Neil wont be taking the calibra.. was only thinking about that today. Looking forward to the drive over in your cav though mate, it looks stunning! Is it a GSI or turbo? I had a GSI about 12 months ago and was one of the most fun cars ive owned..

Like the graphics aswell mate;) Are all the cars travelling in the group having the same? Cant wait now mate, dont know what it is about the place but it really gets under your skin. Just gets better every time!

I am having some lessons off one of the local Ring masters (ohh err!) on the weekend we are out there, so hopefully should start to make some real progress..

Corsacruiser, thanks for posting the pictures up mate. Like I said before i dont have time lately to get on the net much and dont get time to look for pictures of the car! Really appreciate people looking for me;)

LOL at the top picture, i did one quick (lol ) lap all weekend and put my helmet on just incase;)

I recommend getting up at 7.30 to get on track for 8am, i was the only car on there to start with!
