y is my oil pressure dipping every time i rev or go to accelerate the nova
some1 said to me its because my car hasnt had a good drive in 5 months is this true

Dipping to where on the guage?
Mine never goes down when accelerating.

yeah on the gauge when on idle it sits just under the full mark and when i rev it just dipps rite down,same when im accelerating
any ideas bud

Have you checked the oil level, and had a quick look for any signs of leaks etc.?

how about a dogie wire!wen u rev engine moves it may b movin the wire?just a idea like
id say theres not enough oil.
Definatly not enough oil. My 1.2 used to do it when the engine was burining oil. When you accelarate or turn right sharply the needle will move as the oil is being pushed away from the oil pressure sender.
Top the oil up and the problem will go away. If the problem comes back quickly you either have an oil leak or you are burning oil.
