hi all!! what do you lot think to fk or gaz shocks coilovers on a 2ltr nova are they up to the job. As avos leak.Also do the gaz rear springs fit over the dampers like Avo"s or on the rear axle like fk"s.

I've got Gaz on my autograss car and they aint leeking after 1 season. Try Dampertech in Sheffield for more details. They can make then up to any spec ie length. I am 99%*sure that the springs are interchangeable!

Got some GAZ coilovers for mine, got the rears fitted yesterday.
To look at they seem pretty decent, haven't driven it yet to see what they ride like tho.

what lb springs have you got on the front .Or what lb springs would you advice mate to take the the weight of the xe /let engine.Also did you have to modify the back inner arches to fit.

Fronts are 300lb (LET & F28), rears are 150lb

Not sure to be honest, a mate used to run 250lb springs on his XE so maybe 250lb or 275lb ?
You've gotta bash the inner a bit to clear the spring but didn't take much doing, i also strengthened the shock mounting point as it was never meant to take the weight of the car !!
You might need to space your rear wheels to clear the spring as well ? i'm running a 15" x 7" ET 45 with 195/45 i had to put a 5mm spacer to clear the spring.

Did you need 5mm spacers on the front aswell.Also do the rear wheels catch your arches with the 5mm spacers on now or not.

Haven't fitted the fronts yet, rears don't catch the arches but i have had them rolled flat !
