0-60 about 8 seconds i'd have thought at best. 1/4 mile in mid to late 15's.

Give it some rev

it'll will be quicker than 8 secs, i manged a 5 sec 0-60 in my near standard xe nova, probably more like low 7 high 6s

Standard Saxo VTR's were doing it in 7secs so it is a bit off. Astra GTE takes 7.3 ish so Nova ain't going to be a great deal quicker than that.

i didnt see any saxo do a 7 sec, they are all doing 9s when i watched which i found very amusing

Might have been one of the previous years to be honest, loads of people say the timing is out though.

Sorry mate disagree with you!!! phil managed a 6 sec 0-60 on gravel .I saw his nova last year at modified nationals going up the strip and yes it was on a gravel road;)

And that timing is gospel obviously, just like peoples rolling road readouts. If the 0-60 was that quick surely his 1/4 mile time would be better.

We had this discussion as no one on mig would accept that a nova would do 5 sec, think it was me an russ in his rally car lol Not that im bothed to be fair i still whooped a load of scoobies an cossies which were putting in slower times

the pod is all about mid range torque and how quick you get off the line standard xe,s are quick of the mark .But they do lack mid range torque unless cammed up 14.3 secs aint bad

Didn't say it was a bad time, just not a 0-60 in 5 secs sort of time. Don't think my LET would get into the 5's for 0-60 either.
