would imagine some turps on a cloth would do it the some emery paper if its marked the plastic ?

Cheers, wasn't sure if turps would take the dye/paint off the mirror itself.

shouldnt do if anything i would of thought it would clean the plastic up !:thumb:

I thought the same :confused: Try it in a small area first to see whether its ok to use on the type of plastic on the mirror.
I once remember using something to clean em up but it faded the black on the plastic.

White spirit/panel wipe/thinners should do it, if theres any discoloration get some autoglymm bumper care on, that should bring it back.

Its a Casio QV-3500EX that i've had for abour 4 years now. Its only 3.3 megapixels but it does everything I want it to just fine :).

It is/was. I bought it when I was starting to get more into photography, that was the best compact that I could afford at the time, that does full manual :D.
It puts my 2M pixel fixed focus jobbie to shame ;) lol
