speaker 1... ch1+ ch2-
speaker 2... ch1- ch2+
sub... ch3+ ch4-

what the point in the 6x9's then..

only real point of them is to creat bass.... might as well use a set of co-axils instead

Normal type speakers. Like what you have in the front doors.

As Ste said, you could have one sub in bridged mode, and the other channels on the amp to run the speakers.
With a low pass filter on the subs channels, and a normal filter on the speakers.
So the sub only produces bass frequencies, and the speakers produce standard/mid range.

A decent headunit should be able run a set of co-axial speakers no problem tho, no need to be run off an amp.

currently, i have a set of 300watt 6x9s running off a 2channel amp, dont know wattage output, put i only had the car a week and i blew the speakers, and as i want a simple 12' sub in it, was wondering on the easiest/cheapest way of doing it as i will be looking to sell the car soon!

so i dont want to be messing around with re-wiring speakers or using 2 amps, just something simple!

cheerz!
