I have a second hand, silk violet gsi front bumper,so far Ive bigmouthed it,and Im lookinf at spraying it myself,as how far wrong can u go with glacier white?-has anyonw got any good tips to paint plastic?-I was gonna sand it loads, white primer it,wet n dry it,primer it,wet n dry it,then spray it,then final coat(or wet n dry, depending on finish) then perhaps 1 coat(for luck!) what about laquer?-does this stiffen the paint and lead to cracking of the paint when it flexes?-I have a garage(well, getting built tomoro and saturday!) to spray it with,is it a good idea to have a heater in the garage as paint molecules are more active under heat or any techniques like that?-I may be rabbiting on a bit,but im half cut,but aint typing too bad,Ive only had to correct 5 words so far in this message! please reply,I need any hints u know!

you dont say what you are going to spray it with i assume you are using cans if so dont use the ones in the local shop go to your nearest paint supplier and they will mix a can or two for you, its a bit more expensive but the spray pattern is adjustable and you get better results warm up the garage as much as you can and then warm up the bumper as the paint will flow better as for the rest you are along the right lines when you are done and its dry rub it back with 1500 wet/dry for pro results, then polish it up to bring back the shine as for laquer i would not use it unless you a using metallic paint another tip is stand the cans of paint in warm water before you use them. ;)
