GSI Help

Hi went out in my car today and everytime i stop it cuts out on me.ive cleaned plugs and leads look ok,even cleaned my idle control valve and still no joy,the car is a K reg GSI
It idles fun when not moving

any ideas anyone

checked your coil etc? and is the battery light coming on at all? any loose wires

my car hasnt got a coil its dispak late gsi engine,checked all earths and everything.

Does the ECU light come on before it cuts out?
Or does it just cut straight out?

i didnt notice if the ecu light comes on,might look like a trip to the garage tomoz then.
