1.2-1.6 exhaust

hi there, im writing this regarding a mate, he has a 1.2 nova, with a custom twin exhaust, and hes planning on puttin a GSi lump in, will his exhaust fit to the GSi engine, or will the manifold need to be different?
If so, wud a Gsi manifold fit onto the custom exhaust?

It depends where his custom exhaust goes to? Downpipe, or centre box.
1.6 has a different manifold and downpipe than a 1.2.

so it must still have the standard manifold and downpipe then, so wud the GSi downpipe fit the exhaust then?

Nope.
As a 1.2 downpipe is different than a GTe/GSI one.

Manifold and downpipe are different from the 1.2 and 1.6 lumps. And i beleive diameter/bore of different aswell??
