Just what I like to hear, keeping it tidy and fairly standard, I see you've put a slightly rusted mk1 bootlid on, what was wrong with the origional as that looks quite clean?
someone broke the rear window... and i was quoted 35 Quid for a new one.. and the boot was only 15 quid with window and spolier so. erm it will get sorted when it goes into body shop... erm yeh the car is pretty solid.. had some trouble with the chassis legs... big holes in them lol... but there sorted now

Just the rears was it, around the spring mounts? mines fine back there, it's the front legs I've had to work on right where the brace to the sill joins them.
nah mant was the front ones.. i'l get pics mate

Yeah, If you decide to change the wheels for 15's, get some 2 litre astra or cavalier calipers and new discs and pads to match, they are so much better thean the standard nova brakes it's a wonder vauxhall didn't do it in the first place. Also, when you lower it, think about changing the bushes at the same time, 2 birds with one stone kinda thing, theres not much point in having nice shocks and springs if the bushes are all worn out.
ok cheers, where can i get these bushes from? and what are they lol am pretty thick when it comes to stuff like that

you can get either stanard replacement bushes from a local parts dealer, or poly bushes which are a bit harder from places like just nova's. I upgraded to poly's myself, as have a lot of people on here, but for normal road use standard spec replacements will be fine.
cheers mate i look into it fella
Looks a decent project, apart from that nasty bit of rust.
Im not a fan of the rear splitter either,
apart from that, its sounding pretty good :)
Why not just fit the glass out the mk1 boot into the mk2 one? As the mk2 boot looks nice and clean.

dunno just like the look of the mk1 spoiler lol
i was thinking about putting some astra sxi wheels on it?
That rear diffuser could easily help you win shed of the week on barryboys.com
If theres one thing you need to do its lose that. Im hoping you dont like it otherwise any mods you do are bound to be awful.
Anway - good project just make sure you make the right improvements!

leather interior is a good idea but.... yesterday (sunday) me and my fiancee was fitting the back seats in, if you have a sewing machine you could pull it off, it's hard work putting calibra leather seats in, But it can be done :) mines nearly sorted and looks great, also sxi alloys yep there good if you got about ?250 lying around as they are expensive, but luckily for me the person i got the nova sri from was an idiot and didn't know what he had till i told him after it was in my name lol.
Good luck
