View Full Version : fuel pump identifaction 1.3 /1.4

i bought a new fuel pump from vaux for my 1.4 sr part number 93151805

but the lobe ( i think thats what its called ) on the end is a lot smaller than the one that was on the orginal pump coul it be for a 1.3 instead ? i spoke to vaux they said its 1.4 but it doesnt look same

1.3 and 1.4SR pump should be the same afaik.

Yep all carb fuel pumps are the same apart from the 1.0.

FYI

the part you are talking about i suppose you would call a follower or an actuator.

The lobe is an off centre disc on the cam that spins and pushes the follower in and out of the pump.

And, all carb fuel pumps are the same. apart from 1 litre.

on the new pump both the stubs for the pipes are on the same side !
instead of 1 either side is it cos it just a later pump or is it wrong ?
