6x15, I have 195/50x15 firestones on which have sidewalls that stick out past the rim a little.

I think they look ok, pretty rare set of rims to get a hold of, Im still a fan of Cav GSi alloys wheels on the Nova.

I bought them off e-bay to go on the astra origionally, but buying another nova got in the way, and it would have been rude not to stick them on the SR.
As you can see from these pics, progress on the astra has been very slow(had it three years now!)

Get that project back on its feet and going, thats some tidy colour coding - is that a 1.4 merit astra?

Yeah just a boggo 1.4 Hi-Torque, in excellent condition too, first signs of rust on the lwer section of the rear arches are only just coming through, so me and my younger brother are gonna turn it into a track/show car.

For a phase1 mk3 like yours its not unusual for the rear arches to start rusting, but they're fun cars - like the nova to work on. Should be good fun project for you & your bro. My younger brother & I got a hold of a black mk3 SRi estate already lowered with K&N. Would be out first joint project rather than doing our own as usual.

Yeah the rust is expected but like i say it is only just starting to show, I have seen much later mk3's having arches replaced due to rust, on this one there is no sign of it anywhere else at all.

Those Astra GSi alloys are pretty desired items by the mk3 astra guys, hence when you see them on eBay the mk3 guys will bid high for them.

He he, ?50's what I paid on the bay, plus a tenners worth of rattle-cans to re-furb them.

Aw man, I saw a standard set a while back without tires and the bids went over ?100. I just decided to just stay with some 17"s until I find a decent set for reasonable money.
Hold on to them because those are pretty sought after by mk3 owners so will be worth a bit in the future.

If they go on any mk3 astra it'll be the one sat on my drive, cos by the time I've finished with them they'll be square!!! According to tha copy of EPC that I've got they are still availavle as a set of five, part No.91143682?
