How/where do I check to see if I've got a coscat head??

hi mate look under exhaust port 3 on the head and there is a small flat face rite next to were the head gasket sit and it will say coscast there if it is but note the stamp is not big so look carefully:thumb:

Its easier to look for the core plug under the dizzy on the side of the head. No core plug = Cosscast.

beware on the odd later models (but mainly on LET engines) that cosscast heads actually have the core plug and a GM part number stamped on the plate under exhaust port 2, but the above method works 99% of the time.
