hi im wanting to buy a cavvy sri 8 valve ...and before i waste my time going to look at it as its miles away ...im wondering what years did they make the 130bhp 1's?

its a 1993 ...i no the 20seh is the 130?

i think the 1 im off to look at will be the lower powered 1 yeh?

SEH equipped Cavs are 88, 89 & 90 poss 91. NE was 91,92 etc

so the 93 im gonna look at will only be like 113bhp ...fook that ...im off to look at a mint sri nova here anyway may end up with that

NE is a good lump, I wouldnt be put off. Why not look at an ecotec or even XE SRi. Great cars esp compared to a Nova. I had a Cav GSi couple yrs ago, it was stolen but was possily my fave car Ive owned. Handled so well!

that cavvy turned out to be a bucket anyway....only went to look at it cos i couldnt find an xe for sale .... wouldnt touch an ecotec tbh

Ecotecs are fine engines. In the shadow of the XE unfortunately.
