Big mouth bumper????

Im making a few changes to my GTE ready for the summer and 1 ov em will be to Modify my front bumper Again! Been thinking bout smoothing the Seat splitter into the bumper so it looks like 1 piece, and Sumone put another thought in my head bout dropping the mouth a bit lower as the join in the splitter wouldnt be visable, Has this been dun before?? Im 80% sure it will look ok but im not sure, wat u peeps think??? This is what it currently looks like,

it would look nice, bit i wouldnt do that. once you hit a speed bump the splitter will crack. well, the bit where you smoothed it in will crack and it will look tacky....seen it happen before!
