in my opnion side exit exhausts look pants
does anyone know how much it would cost to have it done and would it pass the MOT? as far as i know its got to be pointing into the road and not onto the pavement. anyone ever seen cars with fron exit exhuasts?! i seen it once on a big BHP evo something like 859BHP! got it on cover somewhere.....................

IMO they look good on big cars, some muscle cars etc. On some thing small like a nova they'd look a bit poo.
As for the legality of it, I'm sure they have to be pointing out the offside.

I had one on my 1.3 back in the day (one of the first IMHO) due to the shape of the nova tank i had mine coming out the passenger side (more clearance as tank goes up on this side). The side it comes out doesn't matter i believe as many Luton vans etc have side exit exhausts on the pavement side.
I say go for it as long as its not a big in yer face pipe it'll look nice :thumb:
I actually like that. IMO the actual box is too big, but side exits can be quite tasteful when done properly.

Friends Renault 5 turbo has a side exit pipe. Exits on passenger side so he dosent get soot up his leg or carbon monoxide poisoning when on idle (LoL)
I think its great & have thought of putting one on my Nova turbo aswell. I think its only suited to turb motors as with N/a it'll be so loud.
