My bodyshop is TRYING to make me one...

Most companies like Chameleon Automotive & Carlton in Barnsley, make them, but all they do is weld a sheet of metal onto the standard bonnet.
My bodyshop can do this no problem, but he says where is the strengthening underneath??
He has seen a car done by them, and the bonnet is cracking already.

Also how do you get clearance for the headlamps???

PLEASE help.

He personally knows someone at Carlton Automotive in Barnsley ...he has seen their work and doest rate it. He is abit of a perfectionist. He actually does things until he his 200% sure its 1stly safe and looks great. Thats the good thing about him!

He wants to improve on the current versions of the BadBoy ...or else he says its not worthing doing if its gonna start cracking in a year etc.
PAG & Rodgerq are trying to give me some advice ...forward it on to the bodyshop and we c what happens.
Still appreciate some more help please, ta

I spoke to my garage bloke , and he says he has done everything that Chameleon Automotive said (the peeps who did the guide in Total Vauxhall nag) but its still seems like a bodge up job. He is a perfectionist! (erm thats why it is ?11k!!)

He is going to try and do it again, and chat to them direct. If all else fails, I'll buy it from Chameleon direct and get the bodyshop to spray it up.
and then if it does crack like how my bodyshop says it will, I can take it back and tell Chameleon to repair it!
