1.0 servo and master cyl should be fine, You want at the least 'ate' type calipers from a 2.0 cavalier or astra with 256x24 vented discs. The calipers and mounting brackets can be had from most scrapyards/e-bay, For discs and pads just go to your local parts store for some pattern jobbies, this is the most popular brake conversion. Or you could get some v6 calipers of a vectra if you can find 4-stud discs to match.

256mm discs are pretty cheap to buy too.
About ?9 per disc i paid, and ?11 for Mintex pads. :)

If you remove them yourself no more than ?20, If they remove them they can pretty much charge what they like.

Dont GSi's / GTE's have bigger MC's ? is it not worth him sticking one of those on ? should pic one up for a tenner at a scrappy ?

the only thing that is different on the gte/gsi braking system is that it has a bigger servo the master cylinder is the same as the rest of the novas i changed my servo from a 1.2 to a gsi and noticed a differance in the braking power on my nova even thow you can use a 1ltr/1.2ltr servo to do the job:thumb: hope this helps

you'll have to either remove or bend back the dust shield behind the disk but otherwise there a straight swap

You will need a 10mm allen key to undo the mounting bolts, best to get one that fits on a 1/2" drive ratchet so that you can use a torque wrench or breaker bar on it as these bolts are very tight.
