Right, im gettin pissed off with my large impreza scoop not sitting flush on my bonnet.
I dont really wanna falk out on paying a rip-off garage to do it as i got family that can help.

Whats the best way to do this (Bearing in mind i don't want it to crack at high speeds in wind n rain etc) :-/

scuff the edges of the vent with 80 grit, take all the paint off, and take a grinder to the bonnet around the vent. use fibreglass to build up then grind it to get what shape you want. next use filler, not isopon or anything from accessory shops, use quality bodyshop stuff. shape this with 80 grit till your happy, then use a thin spread of body stopper to get rid of any imperfections. shape the stopper with 100 grit then wet flat the 100 marks out with 240 wet . HEY PRESTO smooth vent.
