View Full Version : wheel spacing
im looking to put a wide arch kit on my nova but how do i space my wheels so that its flush with the bodywork/archs so it dont look stupid?! obviously theres the option of buying spacers but its a bit stupid with about 2 inch's of spacers! what offset would be suitible or any other suggestions:cool:

Best solution I know of for the back is to space the stub axle away from the beam instead of the wheel from the hub like this;

how would you do that? wouldnt it require welding or something? sorry if i sound a lil dum but im nakerd!:tard:
also what about the front?

Simply unbolt the stub axle, make up a spacer block of the required thickness with the bolt holes i the right places, and bolt it all back together with longer bolts.
Not sure about the front, lengthened bottom arms with longer driveshafts and steering rack I reckon.
the back one sounds easy now but sounds like im gonna have to use loadsa spacers on the front which will mash my bearings :cry:
