i picked it up last weekend - looked like this: lol

Its a 1990 1.2 Diamond, 37,000 miles. Service history, not full tho.. mot n tax till end of sept. 06. Sound lil bargain. Its virtually rust free, solid and the 1.2 is a really good runner. Bar the atrocious std ride height,(forgot how bad the base models are) and a few bits missing need tidying & lots of cleaning to do I'm chuffed with it. I found a Gmax full sus kit cheap as brand new and we fitted that the day i got it home:

Finally go to do a little cleaning today.
This is as it stands this afternoon.

why did you sell the gsi?

Wanted to sell it while it was still clean/worth a bit tbh. My situations have changed a lil needed some money saving for house etc.. I loved it to bits but as you saw it was going to need some work soon to keep it a1 or as close to as poss.
Wasn't really planning on another one, its not supposed to be for keeps really either but we'll see. Im suprisingly enjoying it for the older, lesser model that it is. This one is actually less rusty than my gsi was when i sold it...Your mate find a nova in the end?

thanks guys - it is good on the outside, and boot floor is mint. Under the bonnet is dirty, oily but the inner wings are fine, solid, only surface rust but the battery tray has had some filling done. I'll clean it abit before taking the pics under there..
Plans are to fit a 1.6 8 v GTE/GSi lump of twin 40's. I have a C20XE but im selling that, its too much work to fit them properly i perfer to keep things simple at the mo. Tidy it up a little, subtle styling mods thats about it.
