hia, i just wanted to know what the best way is to sort out rusty/rotten rear arches i know front ones can just be replaced but do the rear ones need to be cut and welded:confused: and is it the same for other places like the top of the turrets and usual places of rust on the old novs? like i said dunna laugh please lol only jokin can if ya want im just tryin to learn n find out some stuff for when i need to get it all done.

Yep best way is to cut out and weld in repair sections

cheers mate, i thougth that would be the best way just i herd of a lad that did some for a m8 a different way in town n it didnt turn out all that great.

If they're not that rusted, try fixing it yourself (sanding down, filler, spray with cans etc). It might not turn out show condiiton, but it's fun, much cheaper and you'll learn something. I've done this on all 4 of my arches now and it's presentable. lol

i use fibreglass sometimes but its quite hard to work with
