1990 GTE 87k 2 previous owners, dry stored for last 7 years in which time its done 25 miles. but was modified for rallying......lol

bare metal respray top, bottom, engine bay & wheel arches

Body:
Shell completely stripped, all unnecessary brackets, mountings etc removed, reinforced where needed.
Inside of rear arches cut back, welded & smooth finished.
Sand Blasted engine bay and underside.
Sunroof filled with a section from a standard Nova roof welded in place. Transverse seat rails fitted for passenger seat.

Rollcentre bolt in cage with door bars fitted (behind dash version).
Jamex lowering spring set.

Corbeau Revolution seat fitted.
Momo Suede 3 spoke flat-faced steering wheel and boss
fitted.
EBC Green Stuffpads

New Cunifer brake pipes all round to body.
NewGoodridge flexible stainless braidedbrake pipes to calipers & cylinders.
New nylon fuel lines.
New rear wheel cylinders.
New handbrake cable.

All it needs is a passenger seat and harness which should be sorted tomorrow in time for MOT monday

BTW was never used for rallying, the guy never got round to using it!

yeah it was on ebay but I had already brought before he listed it. His dad was doing the listing and didnt know how to stop it.
Would have been nice to see how much it fetched seeing as it was already mine......probably be going back on ebay once I get it road legal. If anyones interested let me know.

Very true to get the authentic rally spec going. But seeing as im not going to rally it ill prob leave it as it is, well for the time being anyway. The stock hatch group it would have been circuit racing in doesnt allow modifications to engine or exhaust so would have had to stay like that. The guy had a stack system for it but decided to do scooby's so that never got fitted. Thankfully he drove a scooby otherwise i woulndt have got the car.

Just going to go and fit the other seat, unfortunatly it wont be a matching pair, im not spending ?400+ on a passanger seat!
