Has any1 hadd any gd quotes on any nova gte's wat would be de best company 2 go 4 wid out any no claims n 4 young drivaz ? :)
Define "young"... if you're 17/18 you'll need deep pockets. Try Tescos, HIC, maybe Flux and Norwich Union... Elephant/Admiral are good if you add an extra (more experienced) driver.
Please refrain from using chav/text talk, this is not an sms and as such there is no limit on the number of characters you can use, make an effort with your posts, or we will make an effort to remove you.
If your under 19, and have no driving experience/NCB, i would forget about it tbh.
same hear. i was thinkin bout getin a gte at 17 and the cheapest quote i could get was 2100. i wood get a 1.3 sr if i were you

Must be a very high excess or something, when i was 17 quotes for a 1.4SR were around the ?1500 mark.

I think he means: He's 17 years old, no previous claims or convictions, and would like to know the best insurance company to get a quote from for a 1.6 GTE 8 valve. There is however a communications problem somewhere between the keyboard and the chair. :D
Get it in your parents name and see if you can get added as a named driver.
When I was 20 the company my dad's policy is with wouldn't add me as a named driver to his policy for a 1.6 mark 3 astra estate, so your question might not be one of good quotes, it might be one of quotes at all. Did you not think of getting various quotes before you decided on what car to buy?

Just doing a rough quote on Elephant, if I was 17, 10k miles a year, 1989 Nova GTE with immobiliser, parked on driveway, social & commuting, TPF&T 12 month policy, ?500 value. Without any parents/second drivers as I can't be ****d right now...
Go on then who's going to guess how much it is lol

Thats insane :tard:
I paid that at 18 on a 1.2i.
Jacks quote seems about right for a GTE at 17.
Even a grp 7 sr/sri should be around the 2K mark id guess.

In my experience most companies will tell you exactly where to go stick it if you try to insure anything group 10 or above at under 19 (some even under 21). But Elephant/Admiral etc will insure anyone on anything as long as your pockets are deep enough lol
Lee, who's the GTE quote with? If thats the price for a GTE @ 17, I can see some members saving a lot of money! Or.. its not because you have a HGV license is it? :p

?????
Quinn is cheap, i was paying ?700 for my GTE at 20 with no no claims and no driving experience, ?150 excess. But then i'm a girl lol
I was quoted ?630 by barry grainger, might be worth a try. I'm not sure of the add but if you type it into google you should be able to find it! good luck!
i looking to get a GSI GTE end of the year and qoute for me 2 years driving 2 year no clame 875 or so only im 21. nop way you got a GTE for 1200 noway
Surely you can get it cheaper that 875? You tried confused.com and the mods an performance places??
I'd say ?875 for 21 with two years NCB would be about right. Can't imagine it being lower than ?800...
U on about fully comp? I was 20 with no ncb an no driving experience when i insured my gte for ?750 but that was only tpft

You're female though aren't you? :p
Yeah but i didnt think it made thaaaaat much difference after 21 and ncb? def worth checking out though me thinks
imho there is NO point getting more than TPFT on a nova. parts are easy to replace if you stack it, etc so it can halve the premium lol.

Thats what i was thinking, but got a quote earlier and Fully Comp reduced the premium by ?100,Lol.
