Hey, due to changes in working arrangements i have to put a car on the road very soon or i mite find work becoming very sc****. my only and cheapest optin is to take my 1.0 that i was going to use as a rwd track car and drop a 1300 engine that i have into it to get me on the road.

So to my question, what do i need for fitting? im guessing i need water pipes from a 1200 or equivilent cause the 1.0 engine sits the wrong way round. anythin else? is the wiring hard/different? im guessing i need mounts as well. Any information and advice would be great.

cheers lee

p.s. first time at an engine change so anyhin helpfull like tips etc would be great cheers lee

You need drivers side front mount IIRC.
Off a 8v OHC engine.

And a carb fuel tank and feed/return lines.

exhaust system from 1.3, ign setup, new ign wire from the key, 1300 rad + pipes. Basically everything from under the 1300 bonnet

The 1L tank has no fuel return pipe.

Which is needed on 1.2/1.3/1.4/1.6 ohc engines.
So you need a tank with the fuel return connection.

What tanks? Fuel tank?

IIRC all Ohc 8v nova engines have the same water pipe layout.
