hi there recently i was given 2 amps and havent had time to test them or check to see if they work alltogether how would i acheive testing them without a stereo ? and also could anyone tell me what there worth or if there any good. one amp is a grundig 240 bridgeable with 2x120 watt 4x 60 watts 1x120 watts and 2x 60 watts its a pa240 in black and is very large in size also got a small blue jensen amp dont really know what wattage but will eventually find out hope anyone can help cheers:thumb: ive took some pics if needed i will post them here when anyone can help thanx

connect power and earth to a battery and then a positive wire to the remote terminal, if the lights come on then you know the power supply side of the amp's working, the sound side will need connecting to a source and speakers to test.

erm so thats 2 main positive power leads.... 1 to the power obviously on the amp then onto live on battery then earth lead to earth on battery then another mains positive wire to remote?

Thin positive needs to go to terminal marked remote, this will do for a quick test, when installed in car this terminal should be connected to the remote wire on the head unit.
ooo I had a small Jensen amp once lol

me like a plonker goes and gets the battery thinkin i can do it indoors but the power light aint comin on so looks like im gonna have to set it up some other time but thanx for the diagram and help cos ive never took much notice of how to hook up amps and stuff but best to learn from scratch i say thanx mikey

really razor how did u find it to cope with the music etc was it great or crap lolconcidering i havent tried it yet lol
Ok for my Alpine 6x9s, but crap for a sub! But was only a cheap one.
