Hi does anyone know whether a kent AST20 cam will fit my 1600sv astra engine?

i think all 8v old type vaux engines ahve interchangable cams, so it shoud fit. i know my cam for my 1.4i will fit a 1.2i and 1.6i

1.8 and 2.0 8v are different as are some of the early 1.6's. (i.e. big blocks).

Check if your using a mechanical fuel pump as not all cams have the lobe needed to drive it.

1600Sv is a small block 8v, so it should fit.
Do you mean AST2?

If so, then that will fit, its a 290deg cam tho IIRC. Might be a bit too wild if you have the standard peirburg carb etc.
