Camshaft Identification

Hi I have searched the forum but cant find an answer so sorry for asking if it has already been asked a million times.

I was just wondering if anyone knew how to identify a camshaft. I just need to check the engine i have has a standard camshaft, so does anyone know how/where i would check and if anyone know the identification of a standard Mk1 1.4SR (carb)

I have had the cam out and noted down all the marks (which there wasnt that many) unfortunatly i have left them in the garage so dont have them to hand right now,

There is a letter stamped in the end plate of the cam(dizzy end)
That letter identifies it.

F is 14nv, 1.4SR IIRC.

cheers mine says F, just wanted to make sure it wasn't a performance cam, i.e. any none standard part for the class i am in,
