if the new ones smashed then it'll just pull out - be careful for glass shards though (its 2 sheets sandwiched between plastic so it wont fall apart).

Shouildnt be glued in place - just rubber edging that wraps round the nova window edges.

As for replacing one - you can use the existing rubber - depending on the condition of course - when the bloke who replaced mine did it he placed new screen onto a special table (like an X shape with foam at the top), ran the rubber round the edge (its one peice) then threaded a piece of old rope (like washing line) into the rubber itself. he overlapped the rope at the topand placed it on the inside of the screen

then he carefully placed the windscreen, rubber and rope onto the front of the car (get someone to help you ref this) - then he rechecked the rubber was in place and the rope was still in the groove, and starting from the top he carefully pulled one edge of the rope inwards causing the rubber the lap over the inner shell of the novas body work, he did this slowly until he got the the edge, using one hand to pull the rope and anothner to push the screen inwards (he kept hitting it with the flat of his hand). the when he got to the corner her carried on pulling and hitting until he got round the bottom and about 1/4 of the way along. Then he started on the other side - repeating the process. he then worked on both sides alternately until the last bit popped in and the rope popped out!

Easy - for him. I only paid ?70 for a new screen and fitting (Auto windscreens in Stafford) and thats not claiming through my insurance either!

He also refitted my back and side windows for me (was rebuilding the car at the time though and he was well up for it!
