1.6t40s on 2.0 8v

right hav a t40ed 1.6 gte but bottom end is really tired and has v.low compression.i also have a strong cav sri 130 engine and was wondering about putting t40s in this engine the manifold for t40s has been enlarged and fits the cav engine.coud this be a straight swap or will i encounter problems.stuart i no u will no so plz help.

cant see how you'd mod the 1.6 inlet to fit the 2.0 head but meh

cheers stuart.i took the inlet manifold for the t40s and dremmeled them out to fit the 2.0 head also dremmled the 2.0 inlet.will it not work or shall i buy a proper inlet manifold for 20. 8v

do the ports actually line up and the studs too? if not then bet the right manifold

doh i thort i was actually gonna save dollar.never checked studs and ports just checked sizes.cheers dude.legend

Wont fit the studs.
Get a proper 2L t40 inlet.
