For starters putting the engine in isnt too much of a problem with the M-Tech conversion kit. The complicated bits will come with the wiring which I'm not to hot on.

Need to get 22 spline shafts, mk2 inner Cvs.
Weld the bay etc.
Same amount of work a a 2L 16v.

try www.chrisastleymotorsport.co.uk (http://www.chrisastleymotorsport.co.uk) for mount kits e.t.c, give him a call at his workshop for advice if you get stuck!

I think a guide on fitting the 2.0 loom into the 1.2 loom would be useful.

cheers for all help, is it better to fit it into a 1.6 gsi/ gte than a 1.2 ?
I think the GSi/gte engine bay is allready strengthened so you wont need to seam weld it.
It is strengthened over standard 1.2etc shells, but its still best to weld it up.
