dash revisited

Alright then....... (sorry to bring this back up)
I have cleaned a section dash with soapy water, and thinners. Dried it, and then sprayed the section with the dye. Now, I have noticed that even though I have apparently "dyed" the dash, you can still scratch it and get the grey back.

Sy - does yours do this, or has the dye actually stained the dash?

did u use that clear primer from folitec? if not thats y i guess.

Being honest the foliatec spray is crap, I used proper 2k paint with loads of adhesion promoter and softface additive to make the paint more flexible and I have a couple of cracks, mainly where the clock/heater surrounds meet the vinyl dash,

whats the mistake. no mine is fine. i must have been bloody lucky, its worked fine. i cant think why it ainted worked, my dads stuck it up in the roof of the garage and he dropped it so ill dig it out in a couple of days to see if its damaged. have you managed to sort it out yet
