help wiz carbs

my m8 told me insted of putting t40 on i should put i think he sadi 1100 CBR carbs on it coz it will get more BHP plz help

Cant see you getting more power than T40's to be honest as you will need some mental state of tune to see any difference... plus the cost of getting the carbs/manifold/setup etc will outweigh the cost of getting a T40 setup 2nd hand.

they will be better than the std single carb that is currently fitted, but as said i cant see how a tangable difference will be seen between T40's and Bike carbs on a mild tune engine...

Fitting bike carbs would be a much cheaper option if you could get a manifold made try bogg brothers but power would be around the same as twin 40's

i think the costs will be V close/slightly cheaper for T40's but i guess its all up to you at the end of the day

if i did put on a set of bike carbs what 1's do u think i should get if any1 should help me wiz that :) :) and if i got 190BHP would i have 2 do anything else to the gearbox or sumthing coz of how much power is goin threw
