quick question...

i've got a 1.4 sri corsa engine in my nova...running on a gte tank and external fuel pump

the thing is .....i might be buying a 1.2 single injection nova 2morrow nite and woz wondering if the fuel tank /pump has enough pressure 2 run the sri engine sufficiently,as i would swap the tanks

i wanna keep the gte tank/pump 4 a 2.0 16v conversionon the other nova i'm buying

Nope it wont.

You can fit the SPI tank, and replace the SPI pump with a MPi one from a corsa/mk3 astra.

Why not just leave your nova alone.

And keep the SPI tank, and get a MPi pump for the 16v.

rite.......so the tank and fuel feeds are of the same size/layout...wether its spi or mpi......coz obviously the standard 1.0/1.2 tanks r different

if thats the case then its happy days...........coz i've a pump offf an old carlton lyin in work that'll do the job nicely

just i havent had a cahnce 2 ever look at a 1.2 i on the ramp and am unsure of the setup .......

cheers 4 your help

Ye, the only difference between MPi astras and SPi novas is the MPi fuel pump.
IIRC it does need modding slightly to fit in the spi tank, but it does fit.
