steering wheel

fitted a new steering wheel to my nova gsi yesterday and every time i turn the wheel past a certian point, it makes a knock/click noise and the same noise when i straighten up the wheel has any one had this fault before?

Did it do this before the new wheel?

Is the new steering wheel from another Nova? or is it an Astra wheel?

sorted it now it turned out to be the coller at the bace of the steering column by the rubber bush, the coller was catching the rivet when turning the wheel
