what would be the best way to paint my grey vinyl sr dash white?

sand it, prime it and spray it??
wouldn't take long to do i wouldn't think.

thanks,I am doing a retrim in white and black leather including seats(blue neons in them), headlining and door cards, but I am not covering the dash. I want to kept the black parts of the dash and paint the rest white. where can I get a white or black carpet from?

Is your dash a MKII one since you say vinyle?

If so, then you need special dye.

get carpet from a carpet shop, you could have really nice plush carpet then instead of the really thin naff stuff they always put in cars.

Nova clubs had a white (ish ) carpet i think

Na...it was light grey like most other models.
It had white (and yellow) in the seats and door cards though.

the white dash is a bad idea

i had one in my white nova once

i sanded and painted it and it looked good

until it got dark and i couldnt see out ov the windscreen for the reflection
