Fitting a 1.6 16v

My mate and I are about to fit 1.6 16valve in to his SR. Is there any guides about?

Its pretty straight forward.
Engine drops straight in.

Just the wiring you might get stuck with.
If its a x16xe, IIRC you need the transponder out of the car ignition key, or else the immobiliser will never turn off.

thats right long the nova its only the early x14xe's that you can get away without having the ignition barrel transponder etc on

X14xes have it too AFAIk.
Its only the early 1600 16v(c16xe) that dont have it.
