No, just have the car well serviced with no tat rolling around inside.

Helmets are sometimes compulsory as are long sleeves sometimes & no shorts or flip flops etc.

Place near to me just require you to bring a car !

Autotest days sometimes require MSA national B liscences. But they are just a ?40 send off !

I know that goodwood don't ask for cages, helmets or anything else.

I think they do say they require you to wear long sleeves and trousers

A strut brace is not a safety device, it improves rigidity and handling. Some track days will insist on FIA approved roll cage, others wont. Best to take a helmet and MOT docs too to prove its roadworthy. Keep fluids topped up cos your car will recieve a greater pounding than usual and will get v hot.
And no chewing gum in your car while on the track....!!
