butchering parts

i was thinking of getting a "different" front bumper for a nova. problem is its too big. is it OK to take jigsaw right down middle horizontally and vertically then fibreglass togethor??
i know i gotta hack it up with jigsaw its just the putting back togethot with fibreglass i have queries with.
i think it will be pure bodge haveing fibreglass along the middle of bumper and vertically as well.

wot u peeps think?? ne hints of how to cut up bumpers and make em fit???

thats how u make bumpers dave

if your that scared of it cracking then get sumbody to plastic weld the parts back together and then fill the joins
