Which one is quicker???

i've seen in the Max power mag that the 1.3sr is quicker o-60 than the 1.4sr, but i heard from someone that the 1.4sr is, can som1 help, cos, I AINT A CLUE!

I was told by a mate that the 1.3 is quicker than the 1.4 why I don't know but I have just got a 1.3 which I am going to get board out to a 1.4 so it shoud beat 1.3 & 1.4

Max Power is bollox. They have quoted the power figures for std 1.4 Nova's like merits and shit... 1.4SR's have 82 BHP, do 60 in 10.8 secs and have a top speed around 110 I think.

Personally I think max power is a load of shite, they quite often talk absolute bollox. Try car and car conversions they actully know what they are talking about, for mechanical type mods anyway.

1.4 is quicker than a 1.3, why wouldn't it be!! Daves figures sound correct in max power they are used the figures 4 a 1.2 instead

Hey m8's, max power is crap cause ma car was tested b4 i had anything done to it and it had alot more bhp than max said it does

nah sorry dave but 1.4 srs only have 75 hp weres the 1.3 has 70 hp the 1.4 is faster coz ov improved torque. the sri has 82hp

The performance figures listed in the back of max power are wrong. they have confused the figures for a 1.4 SRi ( multipoint injection) with the figures for the 1.4i merit ( single point injection). This means loads of peeps think the SRi is slower. This is just not the case. The correct figures for the 1.4SRi are loads better.

I think that somebody should mail maxpower and tell them the right figures for a 1.4sr and 1.4sri.
