Anyone know if Brett Wharburtons 'Mint' Nova's been sold ?
Spotted this on a local site ....

Just spoke to Dave France(Fearlss), who built the car for Brett, and he said he knows NOTHING about it being sold....
Argh !!!!
It's a localish place to me as well...
That whole site is pretty renound for being full of tw@ts/chavs, let's just hope this guy isn't !

Not a huge fan of the car in its latest incarnation but lets hope its gone to a good home!
Says he's picking it up this weekend (so it would still be there) but says he bought it "from down south" :|

bretts car has been for sale in the back of tv for the last 3 months iirc
still got but have a buyer who will be collecting when he can sort a trailer and van, not sold til got ?s in hand though!
someone else posted on here that they had bought it months ago but never turned up with the cash, so he is waiting til has some money in his hand.

I just wish it was still breeze Blue with the std bumpers. I'd have bought it then!
Just as long as it's driven and not parked up and never used. I know that Brett is gutted that he never got to use it as much as he would have liked.....

It is inevitble that with time and use it will deteriorate. Like car the more it is used the more it shows its age and the harder it is to keep on top of all the jobs that need doing. Might just use mine for shows etc as its not like a could go shopping in it.

I went down to buy that car last year and it as been sat out side under a tree for over a year and was f----ed bet its still their and he wonted ?6000 for that back then
Fair comments one and all, but it is no longer a car if you don#t drive it, it's a f3ckin huge paperweight!
I'm not suggesting that he parks it in a multistorey when he goes to the city centre, and picks up car park dings on Tesco's, just that it gets used!!!

If you can call driving it sitting in it while it is on a trailer been pushed off then it was over 12 months ago!

My nova hasn't had an engine in it for 2 years, so i think that counts as a fair excuse for not driving it!
Trust me, if I had my nova back on the road, I'd go to work in it!!!! Free valet every day, free fuel, indoor parking, 20 mechanics looking after it!!!

Well it official folks - Bretts nova now has a new owner - It was picked up today !!!

my plans are just dry use only so it doesnt depreciate, yeah i hope to take it to some shows it would be a waste not to, im not going to change anything on the car its staying exactly how it is it looks great and well happy to own it.

dont blame him really, that cars giving me inspiration to get mine looking good and mint.
I personally will be GUTTED if this car doesn't get used! I know Fearless and Brett better than 99% of the people "in" the scene nowadays, and I know that it was never designed and built to not be used!
I hope to see the car on the road!

It'd be a shame for it to be sat and not used, that's why brett sold it.
