?1500 for a respray!

Hi all,

Ive got a metallic blue nova sr and i've been quoted ?1500 for it to be sprayed gacier white inside and out. Is this too expensive?? I'm pretty sure they'll do a very good job of it but its too much.

Has anyone had a colour change that was good for much less??

you get what you pay for. you can get a respray for about ?400 but it will probably be a shit job and last about 6 months !!

yep i'v been quoted ?1700 4 a full respray (met black - car is currently glacier white)!!! like damian said u get wot u pay for,

Mine cost about ?40 :D

(ok..that's only the sides and doesn't include the bonnet, roof or tailgate...oh, and I did it my self :))

iam getting mine completely sand blasted (back to metal) inside,underneath,outside. then all in primer for 500 pounds. then he will spray it for 100 not inc paint so around 1000 is what iam paying inc paint

Mine started at ?650, inc. the paint!
but then I decided to do some subtle body mods and new arches etc...

i can get full strip out 4 ?600 to do colour change and sort n e rust! seen mans work and it's good. but i'm sending my dads car there first then i'll see how good it is!

I want my car back :-(

My brother bought a compressor and spray gun recently and I just sorted it with my next door neighbor who is in the RAF to borrow one of the big fuck off garages at the RAF airfield for as long as I need it for !!!!

So after christmas and before May (Belgium !!!) me and my brother are going to re spray both of our cars for the cost of the paint !!!

woo hoo, that should save a bit of wonga.

PAG, this place in roxwell, essex wot is it called? cause I live just 40mins away a need rust sorted round filler point, plus a respray would be nice!I'm guessing it's cheaper cause your taking it down there stripped out?year!

My respray should cost next to nothing aswell, just the cost of the paint. Isn't it great having the use of a spray booth! I going to do it myself which should be an experience!
