the saxo lives by me (so does the owner) its silver with loadsa bodykit and is reaqlly low. It might have been in max power but i dont read that mag. I have just painted one of the little side indicators as a test and you can see it flashing but its not quite as orange more of a peachy colour.

a mate of mine told me a trick he does he uses womens tights stretched across the inside of the light covers, (double layers) it will darken them saves buying the tint stuff an it lights up ok aint tried it though

What about making some custom light clusters that sit in the lower edge of the rear window?
Then you could ditch the normal rear light all together.

Would this be legal, and would it just be pants?

I keep coming up with stupid ideas....ignore me!

Have I started a new craze :p ?

It could work actually.....having the lights fastened to the parcel shelf, so they shine through the rear window. When off, you would hardly notice 'em, but they would show up easily when turned on. When you think about it, it's only like having a high-level brake light in the rear window...that shows up fine!
So who's gonna try it first then?

Look great with the tail gate flushed.

they spray a fine layer of paint over the lights. just enough it get a complete cover. the light fines though ok!! a bodyshop in my area pioneered the idea. they have had a few cars done in our area for nearly a year now!!look out for a silver 206 with them and a smooth tailgate in the mags soon!!

Try some light colouring mesh from r-tech auto design, in hatfield. It cost about ?20, and can be sprayed any colour. It also does not effect the colour of the lights, or the brightness too much.
