very very nice car there my friend, looks floorless everywhere. like the tidy setup in the boot and the flocked dash, good choice in wheels and good to see small block turbos to, but nobody can miss the white 600bhp monster:eek: ! looks like a very good gathering you had? welcome:thumb:

Nice pics of your Nova (Corsa Type A) GSi & all the others there too :)

I am half-Finnish and sometimes use the Opel Club Finland forums - under my pseudonym "TurboMac".

Where in Finland are you from?

Thank you for all the nice comments. The white beast in the pictures is my mates and it really is 600hp, goes like hell. And the sound of it makes you:cry:.
In our engine the inlet manifold is selfmade from standard, it has been cut and reversed. It really looks like it?s never been touched. The engine is pushing 300hp/400Nm on the rollers at 1.5bar :). The car has ground clearence of 80mm, so it?s been dropped some 100mm or so. Also the arches are widened quite a bit to give room for the wheels to go up.

300bhp from a E16SE ? 1.68v ????

The owner of the firges 600hp doesn?t like taking people for a spin :(.
Yes, the engine is E16SE and only 1600cc! Just give it enough boost and it will deliver great power, it?s also very driveable and gives torque at low rpm.

Agree about the low down torque. I drove mine for the 1st time after my Cav GSi (XE) & just letting out the clutch in 1st, it ran away with itself with literally no throttle.

How is yours fuelled? Opower. I take it, it isnt the std management ECU?

opower

We use fully programmable engine management with direct ignition and boost control. It?s called Hestec and it is made in finland (hestec.fi). Also we use automatic launch control, wich helps in street fights;).

so opower, do you have to re-build the engine often because its very highly stressed for a 1.6 8v???

The car has mainly been used at track days and the engine is as new. The turbo has been repaired once, bearings melted. Some trouble had with cracking exhaust manifold.
