Are you planning to put it a t the front or at the rear of the roof?
For the rear its no problem, I would run it along the sills then up the C pillar to the head lining.

Connecting the aerial is no problem - you can get aerial extention lead and adaptors, I sell and fit them at work.

My aerial came with about a 5metre cable which should be enough for such a job. Unfortunately can't help you with fitment as I just stuck it on the wing.

You have to take the roof lining out or move it to drill the roof and bolt on the bee sting aerial base anyway.

www.nova-land.com (http://www.nova-land.com) - has every guide you will need, and should have a bee sting aerial fitting guide.

Basically - open boot, remove the rubber edging and then peel the tape away from the kip to loosen the roof lining.

You will see some sound proofing - peel this back.

On the roof, find the centre and then mark back about 2.5 inches (this stops the aerial snagging on the hatch when it opens. Best thing to do is open the boot full up then place the aeriel on the roof until it looks rightr and mark the point.

Then put some masking tape on the spot where you want to make your hole. This will stop the paint chipping when you drill

Then drill into the roof using corretc sized drill bit for your aeriel.

Then remove masking tape and seal the edges using either grey stripe or suitable sealer (not silicone based) - this stops the area from rusting.

Then screw base onto the roof and secure.

To feed the lead, you'll probably need wither the BIG cable version of your aerial or an extension. Best way is to feed down one of the c pillars (behind the plastic mouldings) then along the drivers side of the car behind the rear 1/4 panel, then under the carpet and along the edge of the door floor panel (under carpet - need to remove door edging), under carpet where pedals are then up into the centre console and into the back of the dash.

Refiit the roof sopund proofing - if it wont stick use double sided tape or better still spray glue

The replace the roof lining on the edge, refit the rubber surround and thats it!

im with ade on this one but be very carefull when u peel the roof lining away as it is very thin and may rip then ull have to replace your entire roof lining

You want to try fitting one to a saloon, I had great fun popping the rear screen out and then putting it back in, still only took me a couple of hours though, shouldn't take longer than an hour on a hatch.
