HOW CAN I GET THE MOST POWER FROM A 1.6sv CARB ENGINE
SHUD I GO FOR TWIN WEBBERS R TURBO CONV. :confused:

imho throw the 16SV away and get a 1.6SE engine then convert that to T40's head work, 280+ cam, bottom end strenghtening etc.... if built and setup right can see 150ish bhp

Turbo.. the most reliable one that i know of made 180bhp (not the best for a 1.6 turbo but meh its still good power)

Or if you want to stick with the 16sv engine, get a 1400Sr t40 inlet and a set of T40s.

A 16se would be free extra power tho, as they are much better engines
