Could you fit a higher spec pressure regulater to the SPI system for example off a GTE? would it work or flood the system? or would i also need new tank? just wondering as my cr*ppy 1.2i is very slow!

It would flood the engine if you could get a GTE one to fit, as SPi regulator is on the throttle body itself.
The SPI fuel regulator is set up for the SPI system, so why would you want to change it.
