Id say with 15"s jus chuck on a set of Cav GSi discs and calipers with some green stuff pads - staight fit. Dont worry too much about the rear - discs on a nova at the rear can make it a bit skitsh under hard braking with out a bias controller.

256mm brakes are from the Cav GSi but if you want some more wheel filling you could opt for the 288mm brakes from the V6 models no probs.
With both these brake options the smallest wheel size that will fit will be a 14" wheel.

Its bastid cloe with 256 discs and calipers so id love to see you fit the V6 stuff behind a 14" rim lol.
256 ATE calieprs + some decent grooved NOT drilled discs + something like Mintex C-Tech or Ferodo DS2000's or even Pagid FR pads.

Scrappy /\
Or on here/Mig, there often for sale.
V6 brakes only just fit behind some 15s.

any 2lt cav or astra will have those brakes so just go to scrappy an get some for a tenner, then some new discs an pads. Will cost you about 60ish for the whole lot i would have thought

I paid ?10 each for the discs, and ?12 for the pads.
Also make sure the caliper pistons are not seized in there bores.

you dont need crazy brakes I recommend SRI calipers and new Disks with new ferrodo Premier pads. Should stop you fine

Ditto, I've got GSi calipers with the 20mm vented discs under my 14" wheels. Look nice and standard too when they're all grubby even tho they stop really well. Would sort the rear drums though, just so you know its all up to scratch.

Ive got a tidy pair of clipers off my Cav GSi for sale.

If the rear drums are kept adjusted nicely that should stop ya well enough, especially with grooved discs & Mintex pads or similar.

how much do you want for those cav brakes?

are the rear drums from a cav worth fitting at all?

Help increase the size a little??? (i know the GSI's are discs.. fear not! lol)

Front brakes do 75-80% of the braking so at the back just make sure they're nice an healthy, ie, properly adjusted and free-moving.

personally i wouldnt use SRi,GSI calipers, have a tendancy to seize up.

They dont/\ they are different than the early Sr etc calipers.
They are the better ATE calipers, that dont seize ever ten minutes like the old pin Delco ones,Lol.

Even the 1.2i ATE calipers are much better than the early Sr brakes.
